Getting started

Introduction

What is slaves.wtf and why should you care

slaves.wtf is a fork of OpenClaw — the open-source, self-hosted AI assistant framework with 208K+ GitHub stars.

We took the most powerful multi-channel AI gateway on the planet and gave it a personality: slaves 🏋️.

What slaves do

A slave is a tireless AI worker that connects to every messaging platform you use:

  • WhatsApp — reply to messages, handle media, join group chats
  • Telegram — full bot API integration with inline mode
  • Discord — slash commands, threads, voice channels
  • Slack — app home, message shortcuts, workflows
  • Signal, iMessage, Teams, Matrix, Line, Google Chat — and more

One slave instance. All your channels. Running 24/7 on your hardware.

Why fork OpenClaw?

OpenClaw is incredible infrastructure. But it's generic. slaves.wtf adds:

  1. The slave persona — a consistent, opinionated personality across all channels
  2. This monorepo — landing page, docs, and the core engine in one place
  3. Branding that doesn't put you to sleep — because your AI worker should have character

Architecture

slaves.wtf is a TypeScript monorepo powered by pnpm workspaces and Turborepo:

slaves.wtf/
├── core/ # The engine (forked OpenClaw)
└── apps/web/ # This site — landing page + docs

The core engine handles everything: LLM routing, channel adapters, agent execution, memory, browser automation, voice, and plugins.
